3 weeks and still no propane - no delivery scheduled...BUT THEY DO HAVE OUR MONEY! My husband has been on the phone with them for days. He's already been transferred to 4 different people today alone! That doesn't count all the other days he's been stuck on hold and transferred from one person to another! This company DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS!!!

Have used Amerigas for many years without incident until, perhaps, around the same time they went through the merger with UGI? Service has steadily declined over the past 5 years. I pre-pay each year with automatic filling and have one of their remote volume sensors on our tank. We were flagged for delivery 11/21/20 by their own system. With no gas delivered a month later, we called....and called.... Four times we were told our delivery was being expedited. I've spent at least 10 hours on the phone, on hold and waiting. Some... read more

It has been a nightmare trying to work with Amerigas. Two no-shows for appointments, bills that are incorrect, and 90 minute+hold times to reach someone on the phone. My online account is still not functional despite reporting the issue in writing to the company multiple times. Sometimes they never answer the phone after being on hold and disconnect you. I have never been able to speak to a supervisor, they say someone will call me but never does. They do not respond to email correspondence and their Chat help feature on the... read more

Was due for delivery on the 7th of December....nothing! As of Jan 4th...nothing. Keep getting told a different excuse each time we call. My 83 year old mother now has no heat and no hot water. Local branch is closed with trucks sitting on the lot. Unacceptable not to notify your customers of changes to company, franchises or routes. Three week wait for new provider to begin service. If I had one word to describe Amerigas it would be 'horrible'! They bought company I'd used for years and service immediately went down the toilet! Fortunately I was able to switch to a local independent company that has impeccable service. Best decision I ever made was to change from Amerigas.

I would give negative stars if that were an option!!!! Worst company EVER!!!!! Ordered delivery 12/18.... still no delivery... out of heat/stove x 5 days.... but they had no problem taking our money on 12/18.... Several calls were made and spoke with supervisors... they could care less if we have heat or not!!!! Cannot give a delivery date... no one calls back when they say they will! In past they have not shown up for service calls and have locked up our tank when someone was home! They DO NOT care about their customers AT ... read more

Horrible, no one answering phones, or emails, or even written communication! Sold house in August but received a bill for delivery in September. Went to a physical location (Swanzey, NH) and was told she would fix it and receive a final bill of $0. She didn't. We have now received our 3rd notice of a late bill and can't seem to get anywhere. I'm so sick to my stomach thinking this could effect my credit. Have thought about paying the bill then demanding a refund but I doing a refund would happen and this company does not des... read more

I have been a customer of Northern Energy for a long time. since they joined with Amerigas customer service has fallen off a cliff. they are supposed to fill my tank on a regular basis, but they have missed two deliveries and now I ran out of fuel. they havenot responded to me for three days even after elevating my situation to an emergency. I have fired them they do not deserve my business.

I don't ever leave poor reviews, simply because of the industry I work in however sometimes exceptions need to be made. I ordered service the week before I moved into my new house with an empty propane tank, set a time for Tuesday the 15th and a WONDERFUL guy named Aaron came out. He checked my tank, put a few gallons in and said someone would be back out to fill it up Thursday or Friday. Thursday comes and goes and my tank runs out of propane overnight. I call on Friday and apparently the order never got put in. Spoke to 2 ... read more
