Each time I call I’m on hold for 20 minutes to an hour. Each representative tells me something different, and I’ve not once been able to speak with a supervisor. One rep even HUNG UP ON ME. Why? Because I started to cry I was so frustrated that I’ve been without propane for over 2 weeks. Meaning no heat, so my house is 50°, and no stove/oven...my 4 year old daughter and I have been huddled in front of a space heater eating microwave food for two weeks because of this company. I was out of propane for a week while I waited fo... read more

We are supposed to be on a regular scheduled route for gas delivery, yet once again our tank has run dry. We started calling in to get delivery 7 days ago, and have been following up regularly. We have been hung up on more than once, promised returned calls, promised delivery would be expedited, and yet we are still without gas, and have yet had them initiate any communication to us. We have been without working stove/oven and water heaters for 7 days. A few years ago we had a similar incident, with no gas for 3 days in the ... read more

Amerigas is the absolute worst company to work with. I called to order gas on 11/6 and they didn't come out until 11/16 and said there was an issues with my tank so they would send a service pro out, the service pro came out a week later and said there was nothing wrong with our tank so another delivery truck came out a week later only to tell us our tank wouldn't take gas. I have been trying to get ahold of someone for two weeks straight and they all give you the run around. We are now below 5% and I have a 1 year old daugh... read more

Been waiting for propane gas delivery for 27 days. Each day we've been told 'you are on the schedule, it will be no later than 6pm today.' We now have a part-time job, calling Amerigas every single day, sitting on hold, arguing with their CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE ADVOCATE SPECIALIST. They've had our money since early December and our propane tank is almost empty.

THE WORST COMPANY EVER!!!!!!!!!! I ordered my gas on 12/15/20. Expected delivery was between 12/16 and 12/24/20. It is now 1/6/2021 and I still don't have gas. I have called 9 times and my delivery was supposedly expedited. They ruined my holiday plans and remain without gas to cook and heat in the house. This company needs to be held accountable. I have spent additional money trying to provide a livable environment.

Contacted Amerigas SEVEN times over the course of 2 1/2 weeks to fill tank because we were low on propane. Despite repeated assurances that the tank would be filled ASAP it never was. When the tank got down to 5%, we found a new propane company that came right out and filled the tank. We cancelled our account.

Consumer beware....This is not the first time. I ordered propane at 35 percent on 12/21/20, as of 1/1/21 we were without heat or hot water. (Keep in mind it is annotated that there is disabled elderly at house on the account). On 1/2/21 we notified them that we needed an emergency delivery due to the normal delivery somehow couldn't be bothered to make it happen in under 2 weeks. As of now 1/5/21 we still have no heat or hot water in less that 35 degree Temperatures in the state of PA. There is no scheduled delivery to be ma... read more

I have been a customer for years! They used to have good customer service but not anymore! I waited on hold to speak to a supervisor for over an hour and was told she couldn’t help me. I’m out of town and ran out of propane. She said it would take 10 to 14 days for a delivery. It’s my only source of heat.

Trash service. Complete apathy for their customers. Overpriced. Constantly lying about delivery time frame. Just a joke all around. Not sure why they’re even in business anymore.
