I haven't had any trouble with these guys until today. Bought a used Yaris in October and opted for the 5 yr extended warranty. Today I took my car in because when I fill the gas tank, gas will splash out all over me. Well turns out the "extended warranty" doesn't cover diagnostics. First they wanted $60 to check it out. Took my 2013 Corolla in for an oil change. Had an appt and arrived on time. Got checked in fairly quickly. I had a coupon for the oil change which was supposed to be $15 off. I was told that it was a 2 - 2 1/2 hr wait but that they would check to see if another service rep could get me through faster as I was going to be waiting for my car. He also said they would wash my car. He said he would come let me know if they could get me through faster. That never happened. It took 2 1/2 hours. Bad experience. They will twist the truth, mislead you, and live up to the worst sterotype of sleazy salesmen. My wife and I will never buy a car there again, or even service there again. Treat me fair and honestly and you will earn my business. Lie to me and mislead me, and you have lost my business. If you want a Toyota (IMHO the best car and truck on the market) go someplace other than Toyota of Escondido.
