RecommendedOver the last 4 weeks, Towne Square Animal Hospital staff and veterinarians have gone above and beyond to help our family out. Marley, our beloved 9 yr old beagle, started having complications in February due to CHF. She was seen by Dr. Alvey, Dr. Sims, and Dr. Cecil over 5 different visits. Not once did we have an appt made as they were "emergency" visits and they squeezed her into their full schedules. It’s Sunday morning and here we are.... Dr. Buckner called me at home last night after having received news that Sophie might need to be checked out after recently being spayed. Her incision is giving us some concern and a very welcoming Dr. Buckner went above and beyond to welcome us to the clinic today. Thank you 😊
Today our cat had an emergency. Apparently he'd been in a cat fight where he received puncture wounds (from a cat bite) on a back paw. With it swollen, and unable to walk on it, I panicked for him. Our regular vet's office was closing for a week because of COVID cases (that the staff had), and Madisonville wouldn't see him, and I asked about Owensboro. I called on October 22nd. My dog wasn’t acting like her normal self at all. I was told the clinic was too busy and to bring her in on Friday morning. I dropped her off Friday at 8am. She was there all day Friday for a vet check, labs, and an X-ray. All came back normal so I was told it was probably pancreatitis. We treated her for that and by Monday she wasn’t any better. Took her back Monday and repeated the labs and X-rays and it was all normal still. I spoke to the vet and after their recommendation we decided to proceed ... read more

Do not give these people your business. And most definitely do NOT call them in the middle of the night for an emergency! They are lazy, unsympathetic and flat out rude. They try to scare you with a high cost so you will take your dying pets elsewhere! Sickening. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS TO KENTUCKIANA
