Appalling service. Refused self referral before they'd even done an assessment of needs. Unprofessional, unhelpful, unpleasant experience!
There was some waiting time before I could get my assessment call, where options for my treatment were discussed. I was given a choice between group therapy or automated cognitive behavioral therapy through an app. I did the automated CBT and it was helpful when having mild anxiety. I had checkins with the therapist at the beginning and the end of the CBT, and she left me reviews on a weekly basis tracking my progress on the app. All the staff was kind and helpful. The service never answers calls which I find to be very infuriating and unprofessional. Sending an email is not reliable as it could go straight to spam/junk.
I have been using Tower Hamlets Talking Therapies services for the last couple months - following SilverCloud Online programme. I was firstly told it could take a while to get video/1-1 appointments but for my surprise the services got in touch with me way earlier that expected.
