Took my son to ER at around 1:00pm cuz he was throwing up since 7:30 am, my past experience have been satisfactory and it's close to my home so this was my first option when he started to look very pale and dehydrated. They checked him in and mentioned that he looks dehydrated and I thought they will take him in fast but after an hour they let another child in who I am sure was sick but still had energy to run out the door and keep acting like how 2-4 year old act, they came at least 30 minutes after us but I didn't want to ... read more
I came in with pain from an infection I had the staff was very professional very helpful and informed. As a personnel who trained to be medical staff the service was marvelous above and beyond my expectation I loved how I was treated with no judgment, everything was clear to my understanding I'm glad I didn't have to stay the night or have surgery Thank you to the wonderful staff I look forward to being a partner here at Torrance Memorial
I alway get great service here. As a nurse I know what quality is I have stayed in this hospital overnight and the staff here is great.
Not the first time there, stuff and nurses are so polite, they love their job, is an amazing experience, I wish where I work ( nursing home) can have so much dedication.
My family and I have a long history with Torrance Memorial. My late mother in law was employed at Torrance for over 30 yrs. Her children were born there my children my sister in law children my sister's children also all born at Torrance Memorial. We live in Lakewood ca but we make the drive to Torrance for ER visit if need be which with 2 active boy's as well as myself seems to be quite often. I went to Torrance Memorial with chest pains. I usually go to Santa Monica but since the heart is nothing to mess with,Torrance was closer and It is part of the UCLA Health system I am a part of. The triage went quickly, given an EKG and a doctor not familiar with my history was very helpful. I was treated quickly and admitted. Was treated beautifully in my 3 day stay. Thankfully it was not as serious as it appeared but I was given thorough tests. Really professional courteous staff. I recommend highly
