I needed to undergo an open hernia repair, and was looking for a surgeon. Dr. Rohipour came highly recommended by my physician. I met with him last summer, but I was dragging my feet to go forward knowing that recovery process is pretty painful. I finally decided and had my surgery in January. The surgery went well. I am about 4-5 weeks outside bilateral open hernia repair and everything is looking good. The pain was pretty bad the first few days, but Dr. Rohipoor had warned me. I am back to running about 3-4 miles a day and pain is very minimal. He was very professional, and one of the few doctors I have ever seen when I didn’t feel rushed, and felt like all my questions were answered. Certainly for this kind of surgery I would have no qualms about recommending my family members!
He did an amazing job with my hernia surgery. He took time to explain everything and make me feel at ease. I suffered with a hernia pain and I was so terrified of getting it out, but Dr. Ramen's expertise and bedside manner was the final push I needed to get it done. I'm on my last few days of healing now and everything is going well.

Rohipoor knows what he's doing, and a fine job of explaining it, of understanding what I described to him, of being properly concerned for how it impacted me, and of following up with me even weeks after the procedure of bilateral laproscopic inguinal hernia repair.
Dr. Rohipour is truly a professional on most likely a world-class level. I had inguinal hernia surgery on my left side from him in the past. He is a careful and diligent surgeon. That is why I have unhesitatingly chosen him to be in charge of my upcoming surgery next week for inguinal hernia repair on my right side this time.
