PSA: Avoid Torchy’s in the Heights today (19th st). My co-worker and I went this morning before our shift, we ordered inside and told them it was a to go order. They took my money ($21) and then told us we had to go outside and wait for our food. We had been the only people there when we ordered, but outside noticed a ton of cars and people waiting. RecommendedGreat outdoor seating with a cool atmosphere. Tacos are delicious. Drinks are delicious. I tried two tacos - one shrimp and one with salmon. Kind of had a Chipoltle vibe through checkout but then they do bring the food to your table. I see comments about their service but in my opinion it’s pretty much self serve which for the price and atmosphere seems reasonable. Also, they do have stickers on the floor that ensure social distancing. Everybody had masks on, both employees and customers.
