I was surprised that I was not checked by the doctor even though it was just a 6 month cleaning. Normally they at least review what the hygeneist has done and give a final assessment.
I had DR. Laster and Meagan help me on both days i have been in the office and they have both made me feel comepletely comfertable and answered any questions i had. I am SOOOO glad i switch dentist and will be going in for good :)

The hygeinist seemed to be struggling with the level of my tartar. From my perspective, it hasn't changed for 40+ years. It is not as bad as it used to be because I scrape it off every week at home now, because those tools are available over the counter -- so I no longer get the considerable build up that I used to get. What did change is that I haven't used the Rite Aid whitening mouth wash for about 3 weeks prior to my visit. That treatment softens the tartar so it chips off easily, and it can come off with brushing and I ... read more
