I developed "frozen shoulder" 5 years ago, My left arm was stuck to my body. I remembered the success stories of friends with Dr. A, so I did not hesitate to call Dr. Atkinson. The day after surgery I was up and about getting a pedi/mani and feeling great. Sadly, 5 years later, "frozen shoulder" came to my OTHER shoulder; without hesitation I went back to see Dr. Todd, a fine, positive & skilled surgeon. As a former nurse I noticed how much the hospital staff respected Dr. Atkinson.

Dr. Atkinson performed a full reverse-shoulder replacement for me. After his initial analysis /evaluation he fully explained the procedure, including the "pro" and "cons" and the healing process on my 73 year old body. Almost a year later, I have regained about 85/90% of my strength and flexibility (improving all the time). I am able to once again play competitive golf. Can't say enough good things about Dr. Atkinson and his expertise and communication skills.

I’ve recommended Dr.Atkinson to all my friends and family who are considering surgery’s. He defined all my options before doing my knee replacement and we started with physical therapy and went on to shots. When these didn’t relieve my pain and I was losing sleep we moved on to total knee replacement. I’ve found I can now walk without pain and am not limited in what I do, which is such a wonderful feeling. I highly recommend Dr. Atkinson.

I wish I could give him more than 5 stars in each category, I would give Dr. Atkinson and his staff a 10. I met Dr. Atkinson a few months ago. I had been to multiple Orthpedic doctors over the years and did not get any answers about all the pain I was in, until I talked to Dr. Atkinson. I had a total hip replacement on September 22, 2017 done by Dr Atkinson. After some therapy I realized I did not have any pain in my back or hip. . I highly recommend Dr Atkinson, he is surely one of the best

Dr. Atkinson performedreverse shoulder replacement for me in April of 2015. I had been in severe pain for about one year. Living with such pain for so long, Dr. T scheduled surgery quickly. He put "his heart and soul" into my surgery. The recovery was less painless than the surgery for a rotator cuff tear previously performed by another surgeon.. Recently Dr. T performed surgery for a miniscus tear in my left knee. It has been 3 months and I'm walking up & down steps without discomfort.

Dr.Atkinson has done my left and right rotator cuff repairs, one recently and the other one 3 years ago. As a RN, I know that shoulders are the most painful joint in the body to work on when it comes to post-op pain, but Dr. Atkinson has perfected the surgery and I am already having significant improvement in my pain and I am only 3 weeks post-op. Thank you very much, you have improved my life.

Dr. Atkinson performed my shoulder surgery a month ago. I was in so much pain before the procedure, I even had to cut a shirt off because I was unable to lift my arm. Therapy started the next day. I have been having therapy twice a week and doing the exercises at home as well. You would not believe what I am able to do now. I would recommend Dr. Atkinson for anyone needing shoulder surgery. He is extremely well qualified and takes an interest in every individual.

Dr Atkinson, took care of my husband's broken leg complicated by bone cancer. He took time to address all our needs both physical and mentally in regard to treatment and the aftercare. His attitude is genius concern and attention to details for his patients. I highly regard Dr Atkinson and would recommend him for others in the area.
