I hardly even know where to start with my review!! When he says his philosophy is to 'treat his patients as he would family' you can believe that. Dr. Atkinson has operated on me four times! Three times for knees and once for shoulder; 2 meniscus repair, one total knee and one shoulder repair! I had shoulder surgery before and there is NO COMPARISON to how I felt after Dr. Atkinson did it is as opposed to the 'other guy.' He is SO gentle, which has helped with my recovery. AMAZING STAFF TOO!

Dr. Atkinson did both of my shoulders and is a A#1 surgeon with an excellent staff & physical therapy team. My recovery was swift, positive and an experience that causes me everyday to Thank Dr. Atkinson and his group from the beginning to the end of my journey with them ! Dr. Atkinson has a very positive attitude, is very competent and personable. He genuinely cares about each patient, listens to their wants and needs, and determines the best solution. I was very pleased with my results and ability to get back to my active life in not too long of recovery time! The friendly staff are also just as caring and friendly, therapists are amazing!

From the initial visit I was impressed with Dr. Atkinson and his staff. I felt that he he cares about people. He spends time explaining everything about the procedure and what to expect post op. I had the fullest confidence in him and any worries I had were removed. His therapy staff is outstanding. They make therapy a pleasant experience. If you have orthopedic problems I highly recommend you see Dr. Atkinson. In a word he is "gold in my book"

Excellent Doctor!!....My Rotater Cuff Surgery, was more challenging than Doc realized....did an amazing job, ...bone spurs....separation of fused bones.. tears...bursitis...wow... My arm.....which is in the early stages of healing....ALREADY feels much better... I am blessed to find Doc Atkinson !!!!

I recently (3/26/2018) had rotator cuff surgery and I was a bit nervous as I am not a kid anymore and hadn't had any type of surgery since an apendectomy many years ago. Dr. Atkinson and his team were outstanding throughout the whole process. From pre-surgery to physical therapy, I was treated professionally and courteously each and every time I dealt with him and his staff. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Atkinson!! Thank you sincerely as I am nearing a 100% recovery! Thank you!

Unbelievable results from my total shoulder replacement! Recovered with ease with none to minimal pain! His office is pleasant with professional staff! So Blessed I found Dr Atkinson! #bestshoulderdr!!!!!

Dr Atkinson is a warm caring gentleman. He assured me that I was in good hands with him and his staff. I was more than pleased with the outcome of my hip surgery. Ed & his staff in physical therapy were awesome. I have been to both offices and the staff is helpful and also reassuring. I had knee replacement surgery a year ago and recently had hip replacement surgery. I always reccomend advanced orthopedics to my family, friends and co-workers.
