I have a major complaint concerning the NTB shop at *********************************************************. On January 11, 2022, that shop removed and replaced both rear wheel brake rotors and calipers ...on my Audi A6. They told my daughter that by law they couldn't put 2 new tires on and that by law they have to put 4 new tires on. If that's not a scam I don't know what is!
Made an online appointment for an oil change today at 4pm. The manager tells me that he would not service the car because he only had one employee working. I asked him why the appointment was accepted and why someone couldnt have called us to cancel. He said he does not have the ability to see online appointments. I doubt that is true as Tire Kingdom is a large company. I advised him that I would contact his corporate offices and left for one of his competitors. Took our newly purchased 2019 BMW 540I for an alignment. We were told it could not be done to drastic amounts of rust and even asked if the car had been bought at an auction. We were quoted for multiple parts and labor and but only given a sheet with price for labor for Tie Rods. As a mechanical engineer I took the vehicle home verified their claims, took pictures, and loosened the parts easily that they claimed would take man-power and high premium price to correct. Took my car in for an oil change and FREE brake inspection. The manager of the Middleburg Hts, Ohio location argued and berated us for over 15 minutes on how the brake inspection was not free even though it was advertised as free on their website and there in the store. He also tried to hold our car from us until we paid over $800 to have the brakes and rotors replaced even though this same location just replaced them 2 years ago. Took my car in to get my tire patched and got it returned with a cracked window. My power window doesn't work and the rep wasn't aware of this so when they rolled down the windows one of them got stuck in the down position. I told them don't worry about it, I can just pull it up by hand. They must have attempted to pull the window up with some sort of tool or clamps because the window got crushed in 2 locations leaving a crack across the entire window.
