Dr Ackerman is a great Dr and is very kind. Great Dr for shoulders.
I have had 4 Left shoulder surgeries. I do not trust anyone else. I have had others want to give me steroid injections when that wouldn’t have helped. He is honest and he knows what he is doing. DO NOT let anyone hack on you. Every time you are operated on u you loose a little. Choose wisely. Dr. Ackerman is in my opinion the best in the Harrisburg Area.
1st visit for shoulder and arm pain, Dr. Ackerman was attentive, professional, personable and thorough. Treatment was a cortisone shot, physical therapy and NSAID for pain. Follow-up appointment in one month
Dr. Ackerman is the most amazing doctor I've had! I came to him with what was my third ACL tear. His office was phenomenal, the service I received was top notch and he was able to repair it and help me get back to being healthy. A few years later I started to notice my knee locking, I drove down from State College to visit Dr. Ackerman and his team was able to accommodate what would have been three doctors visits, in one. He was very thorough explaining what my injuries were and how he repaired them. Appreciated his follow up call after the surgery. Very professional.
I had a full tear rotator cuff repair performed by Dr. Ackerman. The range of motion I have already is amazing. He explained what was wrong and what he did to fix it and I am completely satisfied with his work and demeanor
he is the on call doctor and was supposed to call me back over an hour ago but i haven’t gotten a call and the answering service for arlington orthopedics is terrible the girl hung up on me when i asked to speak to a supervisor. terrible service.
Always have a good visit with Dr. Ackerman. He is very congenial and listens to your concerns
