Knee injury treatment to knee replacement.
He is a great listener. Professional and great surgeon .
Dr. Cooney did my fathers knee replacement and will be doing mine next year. My step-mother was a high level nurse before she retired and was always careful about who we go and see Dr. wise. She always recommended him. He is very caring and explains things simply so I can understand them. I get confused when it comes to medical terminology. His assistant Eric is also a great guy and does a great job of putting me at ease when i go in to the office.
Dr Pater is an excellent surgeon with a kind heart. He was able to fit me into his busy surgery schedule right away to repair my left wrist and within days also to perform a right shoulder replacement. Dr Pater was kind and considerate of my circumstance making sure my cast allowed flexibility so I had use of my fingers since both hands were injured and limited. I highly recommend Dr Pater for anyone with orthopedic surgical needs. I’m deeply grateful for his support and care.
He was very professional and pleasant. He fixed my elbow and I am no longer in pain. He did a great job. I would definitely recommend him to others.

I was well taken care of , all of his staff are efficient, friendly and thorough. I did not feel rushed and Dr. Pater went through possible issue and recommendations.
I met Dr. Pater for the first time last week. I truly appreciated his thoughts and opinion on solutions for the small fracture in my wrist, and was relieved that he didn't go straight to suggesting surgery. He had a demeanor and intensity examining the CAT scan that gave me a feeling of trust and that he was truly looking out for my best possible result with the injury. Definitely 5 stars.
Dr. Pater understands sports and teenagers. He has seen my high school boys 3 different times, all for sports injuries. We were at an out-of-state tournament when my son experienced an ugly injury. Dr. Pater was able to advise us (almost in real time) and see us as soon as we returned to Colorado. Incredible! Each time we have seen Dr. Pater he has taken his time and gone out of his way to make sure my teenagers understood exactly what they needed to do to get back on the court as soon (and as safely) as possible.
