RecommendedI have been to Thunder Bay Resort several times now. I go there for the Murder mysteries that they have they have through out the year. They are beyond fun for me. Really gets the adrenaline pumping for me. It is an exciting time. Although they are not for everybody, I would at least recommend for every one to try it at least once. I myself, am addicted. Great food, wine and elk viewing is also included!
Our experience was top notch, would not change a thing. Service was amazing, no detail left out. We will be back.

Such a neat experience Viewing the elk with a delicious meal! Beautiful scenery of Michigan’s great outdoors and rustic cabin.
Loved the carriage ride to look for elk; enjoyed an outstanding meal at their beautiful Lodge, and the return trip in the peaceful, dark night by carriage to our cozy, warm cabin. Family run by wonderful people - a ‘must do’ on your next trip!!!!! Highly recommended!!!!
There in a bus trip on Bollman bus tours!! Loved it. Down home friendly and wonderful family and staff. Will definitely return again for a visit
the entire place is fantastic. the unique experience of a horse drawn carriage ride to a beautiful cabin is coupled with the familiar small town kindness and hospitality of Hillman. the staff and owner have an amazing reverence and respect for the elk there and the knowledge they pass along is gained from years of experience. I had an amazing night!

I was in room 225 Sept 28 for 1 day, I was very DISSAPOINTED! When you walk up to the room there were "meters" covered in cobwebs! There was a black plastic ashtray sitting on the stairs going into the room! All the carpet in the entire room was stained and it looked disgusting! Will NOT go back!! Very unacceptable!!!!
