I had I really good experience with Loan Depot. When I called they answered If not called me back in a timely manner. Would tell anyone to give them a chance.

My home Mortgage was with Loan Depot. On March 3, 2023, I sold my home and the loan was paid in full. I requested my Escrow Refund (over $5,000) to be mailed to my new address and provided that information to the representative. I have spoken to 9 different **************** representatives and two Supervisors. Each person saying something different as to why I have yet to receive my check and as of todays date 5/10/23, I still dont have my refund. Very helpful. Could have had a bit more communication the closer to closing. I did have to put my foot down when they sent me the closing disclosure and it did not include the amount for seller credits. They assured me it was "in the system" but when I refused to sign until it was redone, they obliged and got the corrected documents to me. As a first time home buyer, I have nothing to compare this to but they responded quickly whenever I called or emailed them.
I think they did a good job. And they went above and beyond what they were required to do. I will use them again.
