My loan officer was quick, thorough, available, and a great communicator. At the time we bought our home the market was crazy. This was for a refinance offer. The loan officer seemed to know what he was doing at first. But things seemed to be moving very slowly, no one contacted us, when I finally reached out I was told bluntly that I didn't make enough money (ie 2020 tax return) I had to remind them that in my part of the country in 2020 there was a PANDEMIC. Process was fast for a refi. I was done in 2 months. I have spent 5 or 6 months on previous refi's.

Top notch service. Never done a loan before and ***** and ***** provided step by step instructions and help all along the way. Loan Depot is absolutely the best loan service in the business. When I initially contacted him I was concerned about the possibility of the loan not closing before the 45 day rate lock expired and I expressed that at the very beginning. While I expected him to reassure me that he would do everything he could, I was completely unprepared for him to get me to the closing table in under 30 days.! Worst experience ever! Communication was terrible, they did not fund on time, they kept stalling and passing the buck. Still have not paid off one of the creditors that was part of our loan and its been over 2 weeks since we supposedly "funded". Do not trust them.
