I'd like to applaud---no, make that a standing ovation---for ******************* of loan depot. He was able to work his magic allowing us to purchase our dream house when one of your competitors could not do the job. ***** came through in the clutch and working at a frenetic pace was able to work out a mortgage in time for our closing. Awful mortgage company! My first year w/ Loan Depot they pay my sewer bill from my escrow account. It took 6 months of phone calls talking to the incompetent tax department to correct their error. One phone call I was told to prove I paid my own sewer bill. Another was pay the money you owe back to your escrow and your payment won't go up! It was put in writing and verbal not to pay sewer bill out of my escrow for following year. And here we are, they did it again. Loan Depot ran a hard credit check on me without my permission. They called several times, and I told them that I already had an equity loan in process with another company. I absolutely do not remember giving them my social security number and never heard the words "run a credit check". I want the hard inquiry removed from my credit report: Credco/Loan Depot on April 3, 2023. When I learned that my house is worth more than twice what we paid for it, I decided to remortgage, pay off all the credit cards, and have a little extra cash as well. Although I know almost nothing about the process, Loan Depot patiently walked me through the process. Everybody involved was very friendly and courteous. I wish everyone in the world were like that! I'm very pleased and can highly recommend Loan Depot for home refinancing!
