We have used Loan Depot twice for refinancing and are very impressed with the agent's knowledge and the quickness of getting through the process. They also have perks for repeat applications.For us non-tech types, the website can be a little daunting to use during the application process. But the agents do list their phone numbers so they are always accessible by phone!We highly recommend them!

We transacted a refinance of our existing Loan Depot mortgage and, overall, their terms were better than 3 other mortgage providers that I checked. Also, processing and paperwork were simpler because my loan was already with Loan Depot. Consultants and Senior Manager were attentive and professional but communication was spotty. Rather than a single point of contact, we were assigned two reps who confused the process of where to direct my questions and/or responses. I was extremely pleased with the ease of the loan process with loan depot. I have never had any other organization I've worked with that made the process as fast and as streamlined and efficient as Loan Depot. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a home loan.

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. To resolve an issue, we were transferred multiple times to different people in different locations. Our loan is apparently being processed through loanDepot, but in a different state. They changed our loan number, but it was not reflected on our statements. We were told the change was effective 11/22/21, but then we received a letter saying that it would be effective 12/14/21. This is just part of our frustration...there's more to this fiasco, but not enough space.

The overall process was exceptional. The amount of paperwork is voluminous, a single sheet of paper with the LOAN Depot address for payments, the amount of the new payment would be an advantage for the borrower!
