The food was good and our waitress was wonderful.
We have a family member at UIHC who is on a restricted diet and was craving Three Samurai miso soup. We were able to get the soup along with get well wishes which was so kind and much appreciated!
This place used to be outstanding,but over the last year it has definitely gone downhill!

The food is decent, but the service is beyond terrible. The restaurant had only a few tables occupied when we arrived, and we were seated immediately. The server arrived, took our drink order, and brought our drinks fairly quickly. After that, we never saw her again. We waited 20+ minutes, but she never returned to take our order. If you have eaten here recently, double check you bank account. After receiving horrible service, which we didn't even complain about, my account was overcharged by $10.00. When I called to find out why I was told there was not a manager there. Tell me why you are able to overcharge me without a manager but you need a manager there to tell me why you did it? I didn't even receive an apology.
The service is absolutely shit here... Been sitting here for 30 minutes with my menu down and still haven't gotten any service.
I've been here a few times and loved it. Great hibachi, sushi and bar but my experience tonight was awful. My gf and I had a 7:30 reservation and had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. A group came in after us and were seated and served. It was 9 by the time we got a chef and 10 o'clock to get our check. After asking the manager for a discount for the inconvenience (the rest of the customers at my grill had the same inconveniences) he gave us $20 off.
