My appointment was on time and the service I received today from Dr Shah and his staff was exemplary. Very attentive and proactive. A credit to the NHS.
I have been waiting 12 days now for either a call back or an appointment. I have tried to ask how much longer I will wait and nobody seems to know and really how dare I even ask. Triage by non clinical members of staff is very concerning. I will continue in pain with no help from my surgery I am told Dr Shah is a great GP I have never met him in my 4 or 5 years registered at Thorpe Road and probably never will. I have been told by friends that if you are over 65 you are not important and now I realise that is true
I don't recommend this GP. My husband was ill and booked an appointment, only for them to refer him to a pharmacy, where the pharmacist told him to wait for 10 days. He was coughing up blood and sneezing blood as well. I have changed this GP anyway.
Wonderful experience all the staff and doctors are so helpful and polite. The NHS service is 100% and thorough in the practice . So impressed I have related my experience to friends who have registered with Thorpe Road .
