My husband and I were visiting family in lymington. We live very far away and were a bit curious of the type of facility my mother in law had chosen for my husbands dad.. (Sydney Powell)….upon arrival , we were pleasantly greeted with tea and cookies. The staff was very attentive and kind. The gardens are absolutely lovely… the place seems very secure . When mum moved into thornfield care home she was made to feel welcome by kris marta and the team she loves the entertainment there and enjoys the walk around the garden always made to feel welcome when we go to visit her

I just wanted to write a few words to show my appreciation to Thornfield and all its wonderful staff. My mum has been a resident there for nearly nine years and at 96 years of age is still happily being looked after and cared for. The kindness and attention from the staff, that is and always has been shown to the residents, is a lovely thing to see, also from the view of a visitor, you are made to feel part of the family, because it does feel like home.
