Spot on. The boat is luxury, everything is ready for you to go. Some great spots to Moore up. If you don't mind long tunnels go south. If you want to avoid tunnels go north towards Manchester. Had a great time.
Excellent service from the staff at Thorn Marine, Nigel, Dan and Susie were great from start to finish. were given tuition on the day, they went through everything with us and made us feel comfortable navigating the boat. We hired Home James for a week and it was brilliant, she’s a beautiful boat and well maintained. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to have a relaxing break away wanting to experience the stunning British waterways! We will be hiring again from you in the near future. We have had a fantastic day today on the Thorn Marine Day Boat! The handover and instructions were very clear and swift leaving us to comfortably enjoy a lovely day on the Bridgewater Canal in the glorious sunshine. 100% would recommend, great boat and facilities on board. We were so impressed we have now booked in for a stay on the House James early next year for an extended stay! Thank you Thorn Marine!
