I went to the Thirlestaine Breast Centre on the 28th July 2025. As someone with a family history of breast cancer (my aunt on my father’s side had a double mastectomy at the age of 40), I have been vigilant about my health and started breast screening as soon as I was advised to do so. I recently relocated to Cheltenham and asked my GP to refer me to a breast clinic so that I could be followed by a specialist. I was diagnosed with a benign nodule on my left breast in 2022. I had such a positive experience. The staff are all so friendly and make you feel at ease. I had a cyst which was drained in the same appointment and was sent for a mammogram which wasn’t as bad as I expected. The whole experience was fantastic.
I had an excellent experience and was in and out in less than and hour. The staff were very friendly which made a worrying visit a lot more positive.
Fab service. Seen within two weeks of doctor referral. Whilst there patients efficiently seen. Staff friendly and accommodating. Would recommend if you are concerned at all. Process was swift and easy.
