We did a 4 night hire - mine and my (14yr old) sons first time on a canal holiday - husband 30+ years experience. We hired Poppy, a beautiful little boat, was shown how she works and taken down to the first lock and shown how to open/close them. The boat was clean and tidy and had all the essentials needed. Really impressed and would happily hire again!
Four of us shared the lovely 2 bed, 2 bathroom 65ft narrow boat. First time for me and hubby. I can honestly say traveling on a canal boat through Bedfordshire was lovely. The canals are like a hidden Narnia ☺️ The narrow boat was well looked after, clean and perfect for the 4 of us. We hope to book another holiday next year
We had princess for a week and had a fabulous time. We highly recommend Wyvern for there well planed & build boats and dedicated, professional crew. Many thanks to the whole Wyvern team! Allready thinking about future canal trips...
Wow what a brilliant 7 days on Tulip. As 2 OAPs and first time boating highly recommend her. Do feel though should take eco shower gel etc as water goes directly into canal. Hard work for a novice maybe instruction should be a couple of days before so can absorb before departure as loading boat trying to take all in a bit much in one day. But go for it holiday of a life time and Blisworth tunnel a must! Will say here with just two of us and hot weather not best for dog though. Happy sailing
