The website is paints a deceptive picture of the experience you will receive. It's marketed as a higher end hotel, yet upon arrival the rooms are rundown, it offers none of your typical Vegas hotel accommodations, walls are paper thin and you can hear everything. When I speak to rooms being run down, I mean grout missing from the shower, toilets not flushing effectively, sinks not draining at a normal speed and heater issues causing loud bangs in the middle of the night. The hotel bar is undergoing renovations which wasn’t clear prior to booking. Noisy AC in the room. The boiler broke on the last day so couldn’t shower prior to leaving for the airport. Overall way below westin standards.
Friendly staff, the rooms are nice and clean a bit small, no casino anymore, fridge didnt work, the hot water was out for a long time however we got a late check out I was thankful for that.
The rooms and public spaces need a gut renovation soon. The rooms have inter-connecting doors that don't stop sound. I can easily hear my neighbor on the phone :-/.
Nice place, nice staff. BUT last saturday night the fire alarm broke and started to ring intermittently every 15 minutes for 4 hours (beginning at 10 and finishing at 1 AM). Find amazing that things like that can happen on a hotel that costs 140 dollars a night. I know it was the alarm company's fault, but I expevt the Westin to choose better suppliers. You would be very unlucky if it happens to you, but I can't recommend them, seriously
I just wanted to give a BIG THANK YOU to all the staff on Sunday night . We had no place to go and the staff at the Westin took us in and made my wife and I feel safe for the night .. A++++++++ Hotel and staff
