Store is in good order and has what you need, but I have been several times within a few days and always seem to have an unpleasant experience with the staff while checking out. I can understand having a bad day sometimes, but to consistently make you feel bad for even asking them a question is a bit much.
Great departmental store, very well stocked and larger than the one we visited before. Definitely one to come by and shop for stuff if you are in need of something during a trip!
If I could give lower than 1 star, I would!!! Very disappointing experience. The staff, including the manager, seemed unaware of the warehouse policies. This lack of knowledge could easily mislead or disadvantage tourists. We are locals from another city and have shopped at many Warehouse stores across New Zealand, but the Queenstown branch is by far the worst. Experiences like this really damage New Zealand’s customer service reputation.
I took my granddaughters to queenstown warehouse yesterday. I told them about finding the ailen which excited them. They ended up finding 3 and was looking for another wee person to give the extra one to. They didn't see any so while I went through self checkout they went to customer service. I could hear the exchange from the woman that was talking to them. Instead of congraulating them she treated them like they had done something wrong 😒. She handed them 1 70c bottle of bubbles.
