I currently live here and they have a pest problem. Between the mice, bugs everywhere and now bats in the apartments. They need to fix it l. It is unsafe and unhealthy. This place poses a huge health risk
1. Place gets bugs ... never see anyone spray for insects 2. Place has mice (called nothing happened had to take care of the issue myself) 3. Hot water comes and goes Way better options out there for what you pay here, it’s a joke honestly
RecommendedMy stay at CHV has been pleasant and comfortable so far. My only complaints are the random 9:00 am fire alarms and the trash pick-up delays. Other than that my apartment is spacious, the neighbors are friendly and the neighborhood is quiet.
I want to give a shout out to Joy in Maintenance and the workers there in that department. A lot of people have negative things to say- but forget the people that make it comfortable to live like maintenance. Joy makes sure all my things are taken care of with care and courtesy, providing excellent customer service. they dont hold up with what's in your lease
Overall my experience has been good. It started of very rocky with a mice infestation and insects like ants all over my home but it has improved a lot. I have been here about 3 years and I really hope to see more improvement. It woudl be great if they could update the HVAC systems. Baseboard heating is not efficient and also cause gaps in the foundation which leads to rodents entry. Adding doorbells in the town homes would also be a great investment. We are about to move on December to Chestnut Hill Village, but to the manor building. Me and my husband had a really great feeling at the minute we walked into the office and to the apartment for a tour, guided by Jemirah, a super friendly and awesome staff. Since the beginning she was super attentive and friendly. She took all our calls, responded all our emails with questions after the tour. I have lived here over 2 years, through 2 different management companies. I don't have pets yet I have to look at and stepover all the pet stains on all the carpeting in my building. I've complained to both managements and nothiing gets done. The lighting outside is another issue that is ongoing and in 2 years has not been addressed.
