I've been and advocate for patients for many years and have dedicated my life to making a difference in the areas of research and education. This time I needed help and my son Joshua Butler, directed me to a great medical facility, which then directed me to MD Anderson. I was diagnosed for the second time with cancer which had spread. I can't thank God, my son, physicians and friends more, for guiding me to this OUTSTANDING medical facility, that is Renowed for treating those who are battling cancer. I've been going to MD Anderson for 7 years. The doctors and staff are awesome! Their level of expertise and compassion is miles above other medical facilities. The people are so friendly and professional. They make a hard situation tolerable. I've been to many buildings and departments. They are all the same. I thank God for y'all.
MDA..... what can I say? Well we moved to Texas to be treated there for my husband's Myelofibrosis (rare leukemia) by Dr Verstovsek. He is one of the top Drs in the world for it. The other people who work and volunteer are wonderful. The celebration going on this week is just one of many things they do for the patients. :-) They include the inpatients in things also. The musicians scattered around MDA are very much appreciated. My husband and I are able to take time out of our busy schedule to have a dance. Precious moments ... read more
What a wonderful place of hope and healing. I came this week for staging. Everyone I came in contact with was warm, gracious and helpful. It is terrible to get a diagnosis of cancer but my fears were calmed. My doctors were amazing as were staff and volunteers. Every aspect of my care was organized, timely and professional. I am so happy to come here for my treatment. Thank you and God Bless
I believe MD Anderson saved my life. The Dr's, nurses and staff are excellent and compassionate. I am so glad I was blessed with the opportunity to use this facility.
