Experiencing cancer is not something easy to describe, and you'd think you'd never want to go back to the place you went through so much. But I found that this not to be true. In fact, MD Anderson is where I feel safe and secure. It's the one true place that understands. The staff, the patients, the doctors. It's inexplicable. Solid 5 stars and so glad my home town doctor pushed me to go to MDA instead of local. Thank you all. I have such a great team of doctors. And the Proton therapy is also top notch. God bless

I've seen so many changes in the 20, yes 20 years since my diagnosis of stage IIIb breast cancer. I believe it's now called triple negative breast cancer.... In 1997 I just knew it was bad but Dr. James Murray was going to do all he could to save my life. He did. Now I'm seen by the wonderful Dr. Beavers in survivorship/cancer prevention. I can't imagine a more compassionate, efficient, competent facility. You saved my life.

I am here with my husband and his parents for his fathers cancer surgery from out of state. I am a nurse and everyone and everything here has been exceptional. The care, the food, and the customer service. This very large and beautiful medical complex runs smooth and earns its rank of top of the nation.

I called on Tuesday morning to schedule an appointment for a second opinion. Thursday I receive a call to get my current physician info so they request records so they can do a clinical review and financial review. After that is finished, they will call me to schedule an appointment 2-3 weeks out. I was told they have to accept patients that they can genuinely help. In hospital talk...I heard we need to make sure we are going to get paid well for this and that we only want to accept patients that will result in positive outc... read more

I want to thank all my doctors and their staff for saving my life. Everyone has been so kind and loving. The technology is unreal. I'm very pleased with all of Md Anderson. I live in south Louisiana I drive in for my treatment or doctor appointment. It has been worth every minute of travel time. Everything is explained until I understand. My doctors know my name when passing in halls. I love this place and highly recommend to anyone diagnosed with cancer. My team is the most amazing doctors ever! Radiation department is awes... read more

I have been going to MD Anderson for almost 3 years and every employee or person connected with MD Anderson that I have met has been courteous, kind and caring. The atmosphere is calming. There are fish tanks, recliners and sofas everywhere. My entire experience has been pleasant. I haven't even talked about the doctors! They are, in my opinion, the best in the world! Why else would there be patients there from all over the United States and the world?
