MD Anderson I can't say much other than we are so blessed we live 25 minuates away and my husband has had cancer not once but 2 times. Lymphoma and Base of tounge. It's very difficult to go through this and not have moments. I try to have a thankful heart, but sometimes it's hard. When I walk through those doors people are kind and friendly. They are the best in the country I have met people from all over the world. They are very busy and when you go it's usually for the whole day. I'll take that since they are taking such g... read more

When you hear "MD Anderson" everyone knows it is not for a minor health issue. It is very scary for those with the disease and their loved ones. But the professionalism and the kindnes from EVERYONE you encounter, from the valet to the most prestigious specialists and ALL those in between, make you feel comfortable, secure, and ease your anxiety. We are blessed to have these individuals who have made it their life to become caregivers at MD Anderson!!! Thank you.

I live in West Monroe, Louisiana and I chose to have my surgery done at MDA. I had surgery yesterday to remove the right side of my thyroid due to a 5cm nodule. Even though my nodule wasn't cancerous, I still wanted to have my surgery done at MDA because I know that they would be as thorough as possible with treatment. Every staff member that my family and I came in contact with were very helpful. Even prior visits to help plan for surgery were pleasant as well. I've been recommending this hospital to at least two other ladi... read more

I have been coming to MDA since Jan. 2016. Nothing but great things to say about my experience. Everyone is so considerate and helpful in the Mayes Clinic. Dr. Bedrosian is a wonderful surgeon. The whole group is number 1 in my book.

My husband received his first round of chemo yesterday. The nurses that cared for him were so wonderful and caring. They explained everything and they checked on him constantly and handled all the issues that arose expertly and with so much compassion. They are the best of the best!

So far my MD Anderson experience is very poor. I have had a single 15 minute talk with my doctor and I have no way to contact my medical team. The doctor I was assigned only works on Thursday and I'm being treated as no more than a billing code. They have a treatment they determined would work for me but I can get it because they are arguing over money - despite the fact I put down a $37200 deposit. I've complained and getting no meaningful response.

I was told about awesome this place was but I never expect to be there even as a visitor. My daughter had a procedure done here. And my experience and empresion were met with high expectations. When I left my daughter there to stay for a few nights I left with no worries or stress that she was left in a place where she will be given the best care . Thank you nurses and Dr's and staff you guys are truly a gift from God.
