I have been at MDA for four years. I take chemo every other week. I was told at a different doctor I had only 8 mths to live. I have Cholangiocarcinoma cancer( bile duct) liver cancer. What an amazing experience with such caring people. Parking is really expensive, was surprised by that as most cancer patients aren't working, makes multiple visits very expensive.
All the people from Drs. Nurses and staff are sweet and accommodating.
I work there installed flooring and see that this is a caring environment Great People
I have been going there for 2 years for my NSCLC ALK positve and all the staff and especially Dr.Janet Tu has been there for me the whole time no matter what!

The surgeon they referred her to was not knowledgeable at all and wanted to do a mastectomy on her within a week without providing her with ANY information about the cance... read more
I am consistently impressed with the way the staff are almost invariably cheerful and thoughtful of my comfort and needs. They are trained to not take out their bad days on us, and they really do remember that their headache, heartache, or whatever is bothering them is not my fault, and they really put me first! Only twice have I had someone not cheerful, in 15 months of steady visits several times a month. They offer me heated blankets and then offer one to my sister, also. And they just keep trying. If A doesn't work, don'... read more
