Very helpful to get a second opinion. In my case we found we were doing everything right. Very large complex, but the directions are very helpful.
I have fought cancer three times. I had breast cancer and lung cancer twice. The last round of cancer I had a friend recommend MD Anderson. I had lung cancer and was devastated. The last time I had a lobe removed and could not afford to lose any more of my lungs. Dr. Hahn stated with radiation I had a 90% chance it would work. I flew in from Chicago for a consultation regarding my NET lung cancer and met with Dr Anne Tsao. I have never dealt with such a caring, efficient, friendly staff in my life. The entire institution is well organized and knowledgable both on the phone and in person. Dr Tsao sent me home with a better understanding of my disease and will monitor me from afar. I would recommend MDA to everyone, both patients and caregivers. You'll never find a better place and you'll never be in better hands.
I have B cell lymphoma. Dr Nastoupil is amazing. The staff has been kind, compassionate & helpful.

My husband was diagnose with Lymphoma cancer in Lake Charles, the Dr their gave him 4-6 weeks without treatment 14 month with treatment. I wasn't going to settle for that I called MD and told them what the Dr said and I don't have time to wait to see a Dr according to my local Dr. MD got me in the following week, that was on May 27th today he is CANCER free. We have been traveling here from Missouri. My husband had his bladder and prostate removed two weeks ago. Dr. Shaw, Dr. Yang and their teams, and the staff at the hospital (especially Nurse Sarah Joy) have been simply amazing. The knowledge, skill, compassion and making sure you understand and are a part of your treatment are second to none. The bar at MD Anderson has been set so high it is like nothing I've ever experienced. It runs like a well oiled machine. THANK YOU MD ANDERSON!
