The most responsive maintenance team I’ve seen in San Marcos so far. I wish there was valet trash, and the apartment it’s self isn’t the most amazing in San Marcos but you really can’t beat the price, considering it is still a nice community. They also do a lot of good resident events.
I’ve had a great time living at The Thompson! Compared to many of the other student living apartment The Thompson is by far one of the best. They are affordable and very spacious, I have had no issues and am thankful for my living experience here.
I’ve lived here for a semester and it’s been the easiest semester yet. Maintenance and staff are quick and so nice and the apartments are just the right size!

The Thompson is a nice living place with a good community. The management is very nice and they are always available. The maintenance team also works really well and fast if you have any problems. The bus stop is also really close to the complex to take you too and from school. Would definitely recommend living here.

This is the only apartment i've lived at that has good service. Maintenance is super fast and friendly. My problems are always fixed within a day. The Thompsons spoils us too with a bunch of yummy food days like pancake bars, ice cream bars, etc. Haven't had a bad experience with anything yet at all! Looking forward to more years here!
The maintenance team here is incredible, sometimes they show up here on the day off my work order submissions. The girls at the clubhouse are always so sweet, as well, and never make me feel bad for my dumb questions. I've never had any problems with my mail getting lost because it all goes through the clubhouse, and each room has a walk-in closet and big window. They also host socials several times a month to get all the residents together. I'm going on my 2nd year here and I don't think I could've picked a better apartment... read more
