Teresa was our server and she was very good and very knowledgeable about the menu and the beer. Had lunch on Saturday and had the Chicken and Grits. Wow, amazing flavor, spot-on service, and a nice IPA.
We always enjoy the food and the atmosphere! The mix of old world flavors, local ingredients, and classic comfort food never disappoints. The chicken pie is ALWAYS delicious!
The food and service were excellent. Note, the dinner price reflects the great food, service and environment. I recommend eating here for those occasions when you are looking for a little something special.

We had a wonderful Moravian dinner! Great atmosphere and server! Needed better follow up, drinks weren't replenished except water. Suggest paying more personal attention to guests needs. Great salads.
Amazing as always. This wonderful place had become our families Christmas tradition and each year it gets better. So accommodating and helpful with our food allergies as well. Look forward to next year... 🎄
This is the third year that we have had our xmas at The Tavern. Part of the family comes from Chapel Hill and the other from the mountains. They have always been so gracious! The food and service is always spot on. Thanks for being part of our new tradition!
