We have been to Abingdon many times, but this was our first time at The Tavern. We had a wonderful meal, delightful drinks, and were thrilled to be in this historic building. Daryl was our server, and he was very pleasant and worked hard to make sure our experience was enjoyable. We will definitely go back!
The food and service were amazing
We loved the decor and the staff. The building was a wonder. They had the best, authentic German food I have had in many, many years! My wife had Filet medallions that were perfect. I would heartily recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a special treat!
Great food wonderful steak just 2 problems I had no sweet tea and did not have ranch for a salad . But one thing I did like as when I ate there years ago max checked on you regularly very personable and staff was wonderful on their toes .
The food was delicious had the stuffed filet mignon highly recommended it the history was fascinating ask for a tour you won't be disappointed

The hospitality and family that work here are absolutely amazing. The food is fantastic and I look forward to coming here on a yearly bases.
