The doctors here have always been fantastic and that has not changed. They are caring and pragmatic and they themselves deserve 5 stars! However, the new system is just not fit for purpose. If nothing can be done by email, phone or at the reception desk then the new system needs to have functionality to replace that (e.g. > 300 character limit, ability to upload letters from private consultants, etc). It’s a huge shame, this practice used to very pleasant but now I dread having to deal it.

The Rapid Health feature on the surgery’s website has significantly improved my experience of requesting and booking appointments as well as managing medications (which supplements the NHS app). Whether we like it or not, access to NHS service is rationed - a result of ageing population as well as disproportionately fewer health care professionals. Although the doctors are nice and helpful if you get to see them, I would choose another surgery as it's extremely difficult to get an appointment or speak to someone even if you've received a letter asking you to call. The earliest appointment is usually more than a month away and you will be asked to call back later as there are no more appointments for weeks and they are unable to book appointments due to a full calendar. The receptionists are not fully informed and are unable to answer many common questions.
