Sadly I feel as though this surgerys failed me multiple times with multiple different issues. - Reality is that your GP doesn't do anything for mental health it's yourself that has to exhaust the resources, sadly. - Never ever had the same GP so no familiar face and constantly get booked either over the phone or overflow consultations. The service has been extremely disappointing. We explained that the nerve pain was severe and had been advised not to take ibuprofen due to upcoming tests, yet even after 48 hours to simply write a prescription, we didn’t receive one. The entire ordeal has been mentally draining. We were asked to come to the surgery the next day of the phone call (despite the phone call being at 11:25 AM) either in the morning before 12 PM or after 2 PM, to collect it. Operates a 10 minute rule and one symptom only, uses locum doctors most of the time, appointments can only be made at 8am in the morning and 10 appoints each morning only and call back on the afternoon, only one surgery doctor at this Surgery and only available Thursday and Friday and and informs you when your time is up as he has to see other patents and you will need to make another appointment to discuss more then one symptom
Have been with the surgery for 20+ years, with both doctors and staff looking after me and helping throughout.
Receptionist is of no help whatsoever and just try’s to get you off the phone not very professional at all called up at 8am sat on hold for 40 mins for then no appointments and was told to call 111 after speaking to 111 they told me to call back my doctors and speak to them and arrange to be seen within 24hrs i was told there is no appointments and that’s it
