Easily my favorite hotel in the world. They are extremely accommodating and friendly top to bottom. I love the decor, the atmosphere and the rooftop pool area. My only slight knock was our waitress kept specifying that we had to spend at least 45 bucks to sit by the pool. I'm talking 3-4 times within the first 2 minutes of my date and I being there. Terrible Experience. I was very excited to have my LA trip and stay at the Standard for 250$ a night before tax I thought I will be happy. First thing was the staff are really really rude . They think they are much better than the costumers treating you with attitude and trying to make you pay more to upgrade to suite . The rooms are equipped with an extremely cheap furniture .
