I, like many others, have had nothing but trouble when dealing with The View. Their page and advertisements are appealing and attract young college students with their affordable rent and close location to campus, however, before even moving in it was already apparent that they are completely unorganized and frankly dishonest. I haven't even moved in yet and I'm already having issues. To start off, they kept calling asking questions about the application and they kept messing up. Now, the roommates I was assigned to live with weren't the ones requested. I didn't even get paired to live with my sister and family friends. By far the worst apartment complex I have ever lived at. They are so poorly managed and the way they treat their residents astounds me that they are still in business. I had roommate disputes that involved the cops a couple times and the view refused to do anything about it so I asked to transfer rooms. The first person i talked to said that this was possible and it was no problem I just had to pay the transfer fee. However this is when the dysfunction that is The View started to come to light. The staff especially manager should be more flexible and needed to listen any problem with residents here but they did not so much.
RecommendedThe Gramercy is an awesome place to be if you want to be close to the campus, yet want to have a place of your own! It's super affordable! The staff is amazing and always willing to help! ☺️
My friend gave them the rest of the rent up until the end of the lease and they still are asking for rent for April they are trash
They certainly could try to show a little compassion for what these students are going through during the pandemic and stop undercutting those trying to get relets by offering them better deals to rent other empty apartments. The displaced students who no longer live in town are being forced to continue paying rent. Their payment plans to help students bc of COVID are a literal joke. If you have no income and are living paycheck to paycheck, you'll be evicted.
RecommendedGreat place to live, Clubhouse is great, room is nice, staff is quick and kind.
