Doesn't matter if the hotel is in a good location with hidden fees, parking charged daily gets you 1 stars. Plus locked windows without fresh air, and my fridge was not working, can't keep my drinks cool... Most places love to validate parking tickets for their customers and some love to take advantage at last minute upon arrival.

Brought the kids here not knowing what to expect- first time we never left a property on our weekend trips. They have everything to do for kids and parents. We will be returning soon.

Great place, we had a blast. Realities, it's expensive so plan for it, parking is $37 per night, pay the $$ and go Bayside Bungalow. Bring Firewood if you plan to use the pits. Rooms need serious, serious deep cleanings, they are surface clean-request 448 (I did that one). They need to hire more housekeeping staff, places to eat close by, room service closes at 10 pm. Great for families or a couple, PERFECT for a relaxing quick getaway. They need to hire more staff, housekeeping way overworked, lots of little maintenance thi... read more

Fortunately our room was clean, and the property is undeniably beautiful. My issues started with the chemical smell in the room. Not sure what it was, but pretty unpleasant. The room had no hand soap on day one and two body washes and a shampoo in the shower, no hair conditioner. Day two we got hand soap but the coffee cups were missing and the one sugar/condiment package was not replaced, nor was the bottled water. Day three I had coffee cups but no creamer or water. This is such a nice place, but the attention to detail su... read more

The grounds are nice but our room was mediocre. Not disgusting but not clean either. Parking was $38/night plus the $32/night resort fee were unexpected.

We decided to have a little staycation in our beautiful city of SD. It was so beautiful and so peaceful. We got a bungalow on the beach. Just what the doctor ordered we ate on the property at the barefoot bar and Grill excellent food. Gorgeous view of the bay. We are definitely coming back with her seven-year-old. Paradise with in paradise.
