I guess they have to “monitor” posts because I don’t see my intial post but I am extremely disappointed. The real NY is nothing like this hotel. So sad. And smoking is allowed by a chlorinated pool? As a non smoker this is disrespectful and I stayed in non smokers no room but people could smoke in the hallways so I could smell their smoke in my non smoking room?
My first time at New York NEW York, and I was given a room without any views, roof view. Check in was that great either. Probably not staying here again.

The hotel is 21yrs old and showing its age in places especially the rooms. the casino is dark and dreary makes you feel like its night time 24hrs of the day. Tip dont drink at the bar put a doller in the slots and wait for the girl to come round and serve you easy plenty of places for snacks and meals the itailian restaurant was super. All in all the hotel is ok we seen better
Very nice Hotel. Lots of food offerings. Pleasant Staff. When we checked in the Woman asked if I was a Veteran, had me go to the Players Club desk and get a players card. Veterans get up to a 15% discount on food and stuff at all MGM properties. Plus parking was free that alone would have been $113.00
I have been to Las Vegas a few times now and this was my least favourite hotel, the room was very average but had a good size bathroom and nice toiletries. I found the food and drinks , alcohol and even Starbucks very expensive. The hotel comes across dark and lacked a good vibe. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
It was a really nice hotel overall. I was however disappointed that when playing slots you never seen a server expect for in the high rollers. Another thing that stunk was at check in we were with five other couples who all checked in before us like within minutes and all had rooms ready but we had to wait two hours to get a room. Don't Be Afraid To Get On The Big Apple Roller Coaster When You're There, � Well Worth It.
Because iam here and not in law Vegas if I was with Shelly and Jason I would have given five stars !
