Friday's is Fish Friday at The Shires, so along with my colleague, we decided to try the Fish & Chips...oh my goodness what a delight..the fish was cooked to perfection, flaky, not at all greasy, and the beer batter ( or you can have without the beer) was chef's kiss. the chips, light and fluffy with the right side of crispness. Been thinking about moving into a retirement community since my husband died. Have looked at a number of retirement villages , have to say the Shires has come out on top, from my initial enquiry, to the lovely Paula who showed me and my family around , taking time to explain everything and answering any questions I had. Rooms for hire..event facilitated well
I came yesterday to attend a child’s birthday party and was amazed at the hospitality. Today I went back to the hair dresser named Maria to cut my 8 year old child’s hair. I had pre-booked on arrival she was very un professional, rude and cruel. She intimidated my daughter because of her size and classed her as an adult. MY DAUGHTER IS EIGHT YEARS OLD!
