Fantastic - a 'must see' place to visit. It is both a Salvation Army citadel (services at 1100 on Sundays) plus one of London's best concert halls (concerts at 1300 on Fridays). The acoustics are excellent - with concerts varying from Military Band to students from London Conservatoire.
Another coffee shop gem - if I keep sharing all my secrets then they will get too busy !! The coffee shop at Regent Hall is a hidden gem. Great coffee, seriously great cakes, yummy sandwiches and (here is the best bit) sensible prices !! Where else on Oxford St can you get a great coffee and a lovely snack for six quid ??
