Some years ago, I briefly volunteered one day a week for the Salvation Army, Ripple Road, leading up to Christmas Day. On this most special day a full roast Turkey 🦃 dinner with all the traditional sides was served to those withn the main hall. All were made to feel welcome. During this time I witnessed their genuine good deeds, both practical and spiritual, serving those in need within the local community. The Salvation Army's laudable founding principles are very much in evidence to this day.

I had the honour of delivering and installing flowers for a beloved member of this beautiful place. I was warmly greeted by all the members there who offered me help unpacking, tea and coffee, help installing and interesting and informative conversation. The service that apparently unfolded afterwards was said to be both personal and loving a fantast tribute to the late member. This place and its members will long be remembered by myself and, no doubt, by all who visited.

During Saturdays mornings the Seventh-day Adventists meet there, however the service is in Portuguese Language. Wonderful place to visit.
