Had a great time the ribeye was cooked and seasoned great, tiramisu was so good, and service was excellent too.
Always a wonderful experience. Knowledgeable service and great new dishes. For those who complained of the change in chefs--- you have no idea what kind of pressure it is to fill such big shoes. Piss off. Glad to see that you're finding a rhythm and producing elegant, flavorful and savvy dishes from foods and products that are Michigan Grown! We have dined at The Root twice now and have had top notch experiences each time. Everything about our experience exceeded expectations. I particularly enjoyed the creative cocktail menu (awesome use of handcrafted and unique ingredients). Our server Ryan provided us with exceptional service. Met some friends there yesterday. Had dinner and four beers and 4 glasses wine. It was Happy hour. Wasn’t happy when bill came. Nice restaurant but very pricey. Won’t be back.
First time there and absolutely loved it. Food excellent and service superb!! Our waiter I believe his name was Chris was awesome �
