Delicious and accommodating! I can't say enough about the staff's attentiveness and accommodations to our special requests due to food allergies and sensitivities. The atmosphere is perfect!
Came here for my special gal's birthday. The ambiance was low lit and romantic. The wait staff was very attentative especially Chris our waiter. He knew the menu very well and recommended the perfect side to our steaks. We ordered the ribeye and the new york strip both cooked medium and to perfection! We both got their broccoli for a side instead of the sauerkraut. Steak also came with au gratin potatoes. At the end of our dinner, Chris asked if we wanted dessert. The service and food is top notch! Try the Michigan Dirty Rice... trust me, you won't be disappointed. Definitely dining at The Root again very soon
I was not a fan of lamb but tried it at Root last night. The lamb ragout was so tasty I could have eaten 2 bowls! I do not like salmon but did try my husband's plate and again I probably could have eaten his plate. We're never disappointed when we dine at Root!
