The Root is a lovely restaurant with great food and wonderful staff. I truly enjoyed my dining experience.
Nick and his crew do not disappoint. Fantastic food and drinks to match.
Went for Chef Sandys tacos from MEXICALI allies. The chicken tikka taco is fantastic. So much flavor on a corn tortilla. The hard shell tacos are always my favorite. I did miss MEXICALLY's hot sauce though just wasn't the same without it. Looking forward to next Tuesday to see what she is offering.
One of my former coworkers recommended this place a few years back. I do not live in the area, but my wife and I made a point to stop when we happened to be in the area over the weekend. They were busy and we did not have reservations, but we were able to get seats at the bar. We ordered a variety of things and shared between us. Everything we tried was delicious, including the cocktails. The staff was very hospitible and friendly. Thanks for making our Date Night a great experience!
Complex flavors. Great service. Best place in town.
