Went there for lunch with a few friends. The food was excellent, the staff very friend and excellent service.
We went for a Sunday brunch and will go back. The biscuits were fluffy and the maple pecan butter that came with it, took them over the top. The coffee was perfect, regular and french press. I had eggs, done just right, with thick bacon and perfect fingerling potatoes. We will go back soon.
My husband and I were excited to try the Root on a date night but unfortunately at the beginning of the meal we got a call from the babysitter that one of our kids was sick. Our waitress packed up everything and took off the bill the dishes we hadn't had yet and got us out in 5 minutes, she was understanding and very friendly. The food we had was delicious and we can't wait to come back for a full meal!
A chef friend of my wife and I recommended the Root to us. The first time that we visited, was our Anniversary and we instantly fell in love with the place. I would recommend The Root to people who want a non traditional, high quality experience. Do not dine here, expecting formulaic cuisine or a giant plate of seared meat. This is an experience for the more refined patron.
Great Place, excellent food with knowledgable staff. Service was prompt and well executed. Delicious and interesting drink menu. More than great options for Vegans and Meat Eaters alike. Simply put; this place is a must! And my new favorite restaurant since I moved to this area.
