I love it here! Its a great location and everyone is nice!
My experience thus far has been exceptional. The office staff is professional and courteous. When I moved into my apartment @ Lucky Strike it was spotless, almost like a new Apt. I have had no maintenance issues and the building is quiet and clean, and the apartment is wonderful. It has exceeded my expectations. A totally positive experience.
The location is great but thats about it. The halls are messy, carpets are dirty and the area in the back is always full of broken glass. There is something broke in the apartment every week! So annoying. We had issues from the start. We can't even open the windows because they are old and broken- we have to wait 6 months to get them relpaced, no screens on them either. The hallways always have the heat kicked up so we have our ac running. Its just stupid things like that. Avoid the headache...
I know the River Lofts only as a visitor, as my daughter lives there. The living units are large, well-rounded, and fairly priced. There is still a very faint tobacco smell in the Lucky Strike building, though my daughter tells me that she does not smell it. There are very nice, well-kept, common facilities. The distance from some units to the elevators and garbage disposal rooms is quite long, and a second elevator in a diagonally opposite part of the building would have been nice.
