Nice hotel conveniently located within walking distance to everything! Maggie at the spa rocks!!
I cannot say enough about this Ritz, or their staff. I've been around, having traveled throughout the US, Europe, and Southwest Asia. I've stayed in everything from hovels to castles, and can honestly say no place has left me with a smile like I had staying at RC Chicago. They treated my wife like the queen she is from before she showed up (literally, the room was staged without me saying a word to them, perfectly) through the entire trip. Lovely hotel! My city view room was excellent, along with the great customer service. Definitely will stay here again.
The bed was quite comfortable, and the toiletries were great. I know I never have to pack my own high quality shampoos and such. I love the fact that they are pet friendly even though we don't usually travel with our beloved dog. The only problem was the food at Dec Rooftop. We asked about the portions and were told it would be plenty, but it wasn't and no one came back so we could order more. We were both still hungry. The red Brazilian was a great cocktail.
Even friend treated him badly, they did leave the hotel, was charged over the full day. The administrative and security personnel are not prepared to work with people who are guests of the Ritz, are for other hotels. Ritz guests also have a similiar economic or similar rank status, diversity in the thinking of each guest of the Ritz Carlton is his true wealth, unfortunately they do not see it well, shame to happen. Groups can not be above guests booking at the Ritz.
Ritz Carlton in Chicago verbally mistreat people, forcing them to leave their rooms when something good for them, give preference to groups alone guests. This is due to report to the government of Illinois.
Love the Ritz Carlton in Chicago, great location, friendly staff. We had a room that overlooked the lake and Navy Pier. Everything we wanted to do was within walking distance to great shops, restaurants, and events. We did eat in the hotel restaurant for lunch and had drinks on the outside deck, the deck was beautiful, had a great relaxed atmosphere, but could not stay outside too long, was during the 90 plus degree days of July.
